Revised designs for upgrades to the Great Western Highway at Medlow Bath have been released, following detailed feedback from the Blue Mountains community.

The Morrison Government will provide additional support for New South Wales by allowing childcare services to waive gap-fees for parents keeping their children at home due to current COVID-19 restrictions.

The Morrison and Berejiklian Governments have delivered a further $400 million in funding to support the Hawkesbury recover from the February and March 2021 storms and floods.

The guidelines for remaining bushfire recovery grants are now available, with the Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury communities encouraged to consider submitting projects for funding consideration. 

The Morrison Government is continuing to secure Australia’s recovery from COVID-19 with key measures taking effect on 1 July 2021 to create more jobs, rebuild our economy and set Australia up for the future.

11 projects, worth over $12 million, have been approved under stage 2 of the Morrison and Berejiklian Government’s Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund (BLER), continuing the long-term recovery effort from the 2019-20 bushfires in the Blue Mountains.

Liberal Senator for Western Sydney, Senator the Hon Marise Payne, encouraged all local sheds to apply for Round 22 of the NDSP.
